As President and CEO, David leads Spectrum’s strategic direction and mission to enrich the lives of seniors. Since founding Spectrum in 1978, David has worked with over 200 continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) throughout the United States. His corporate leadership and innovative approach positions Spectrum as a nationally recognized consulting firm with 37 years’ experience in the senior living industry. David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Real Estate from the University of South Carolina and is a frequent speaker on senior living trends and best practices. David guides Spectrum’s vision and manages the Executive Leadership Team.
Greg guides Spectrum’s corporate financial planning and operations. Greg is a qualified financial and operations officer with 30 years of experience. He has been an auditor, controller, VP of Finance, and CFO for accounting, publishing, manufacturing, and commercial printing and marketing firms. He has expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, accounting, financial systems, reporting, analysis, mergers and acquisitions, human resources, employee benefit planning, management information systems, business controls and risk management. Greg graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Greg serves on Spectrum's Leadership Team.
LONNY BLESSING Vice President of Planning and Project Management
Lonny has served in the senior housing and services arena since 1993 and has experience in new construction, repositioning, renovations, development, operations, marketing management and sales. Formerly, Lonny was with Erickson Retirement Communities for 16 years as VP of Operations, serving as Executive Director of two CCRCs. He was also VP and liaison at the Erickson School at UMBC in Baltimore. He served as Marketing Director for four Erickson communities. He holds a Master’s degree in Marketing from University of Maryland University College in MD, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Shippensburg University in PA, and graduate studies in Theology from Gettysburg Lutheran Seminary in PA and Fuller Theological Seminary in CA. He provides Spectrum’s clients with strategic planning, product development and project management, and he serves on Spectrum's Leadership Team.
HOPPY SELL Vice President of Marketing and Sales
Hoppy creates successful marketing and sales programs working with client communities during startup pre-sales, expansions, and repositioning phases. His innovative and enthusiastic leadership style has made him a sought-after marketing expert. Equipped with 15 years of experience developing sales teams and implementing marketing plans, Hoppy uses his expansive knowledge to empower sales professionals with the tools they need to enrich the lives of seniors and increase occupancy in their communities. Previously, Hoppy supervised the corporate compliance department for Carolinas Healthcare System, one of North Carolina’s largest healthcare systems, where he cultivated relationships with healthcare executives and physicians. Hoppy holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He serves on Spectrum's Leadership Team.
MIKE WALLACE Vice President of Marketing and Sales
Mike is Vice President of Marketing and Sales and has worked with Spectrum since 1996. Mike has extensive experience in planning, marketing, sales, sales training, customer service and product design. Mike has worked with more than 50 CCRCs across the country leading efforts for major expansions, multi-site sales and marketing, and repositioning. Among his current client communities, Mike is leading the marketing efforts in Houston, Texas, for Brazos Presbyterian Homes’ $100 million expansion of Brazos Towers at Bayou Manor. Mike is a graduate of North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC, with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. Mike serves on Spectrum's Leadership Team.
KYLE ROBINSON Director of Wellness and Communications
Kyle leads Spectrum’s Wellness Division by providing senior living communities with health & wellness programs, services, and technology. She has 17 years of experience with marketing, sales, and communications for nearly 40 CCRCs across the US. As an entrepreneur, Kyle has successfully launched three companies including Wellzesta, a digital mWellness company. She also has experience teaching as a University Adjunct Instructor in Marketing and Sales. Previously, Kyle worked with “Big Four” accounting firm, Ernst & Young, LLP as Communications & Planning Manager for their Americas Business Development team. Kyle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as Master’s degrees in Health Communication and Gerontology. Kyle serves on Spectrum's Leadership Team.
MOLLY CASEY Marketing Consultant
Molly brings over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development. At Spectrum Molly serves as a Marketing Counselor with The Cypress of Raleigh. Prior to joining Spectrum Molly served as an Account Manager with Standard Insurance Company and was responsible for identifying and growing relationships with clients from pre-sales through implementation. Molly graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from East Carolina University. She is active in her community as a volunteer and past board Member of The Inter-Faith Food Shuttle in Raleigh, NC and has led fundraising campaigns for a local education fund that assists public schools in achieving greater results.
BRANDY CUETO Research Analyst
Brandy assists client research and planning as Marketing Research Analyst with Spectrum. Brandy has worked in research and marketing for senior living communities for more than four years. Prior to joining Spectrum Consultants, she worked in the accounting field for six years. Brandy has worked alongside the research team on projects that include market analysis, preliminary research and consumer research for retirement communities across the United States.
TERRY DOOLEY Marketing Consultant
Terry has exceptional experience in the senior living and healthcare industries, including several Executive Director roles with organizations including, Tutera Senior Living and Healthcare, Saber Health Care, Advantage Hospice, and Covenant Hospice. Terry has also served in a sales and marketing role with Aerocare, a durable medical equipment company specializing in products for seniors. Terry also brings banking industry experience.
CAROLYN FLOYD Marketing Consultant
Carolyn is a highly experienced senior living executive with proven experience in operations, development, marketing, sales and training. Carolyn was previously Vice President of New Condominium Development for Sunrise Senior Living, Inc. focusing on sales and marketing as well as operations for ten new senior living start-ups across the country. She also has extensive experience working with Erickson Retirement Communities, Manor Health Care and the Illinois Health Care Association. Carolyn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Social Work with a concentration in Gerontology and minor in Business Administration from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.
MARIA GRAHAM Marketing Consultant
Maria brings over 25 years of experience in marketing management, sales, sales management, training, community relations, creative communications and stakeholder relationships initiatives. At Spectrum, Maria has served as the Project Consultant at Still Hopes, Southminster, Brandon Wilde, and The Blakeford. Prior to joining Spectrum, Maria was the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Still Hopes in Columbia, SC and was responsible for the pre-sales, opening and move-in of a 120 residence expansion. Maria attended Mid-America University and Boston College with emphasis on marketing, management and community relations. Maria has served as a board member for Boy Scouts of America, American Red Cross, Volunteers for America, and as a Business Advisory Committee member for the School for the Deaf and Blind.
BETH HOUK Marketing Consultant
Beth has over 15 years’ experience as a results producing sales and marketing professional in the Senior Living industry. Demonstrated success includes optimizing sales performance at numerous CCRCs including Brandon Oaks, The Woodlands, and Orlando Lutheran Towers. Beth was formerly a Regional Director of Marketing for Parkside Senior Services and Director of Sales and Marketing for various proprietary and not-for-profit organizations. Beth is passionate about sales, as evidenced by success in a diverse and highly regulated industry base. Beth has a degree in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University.
STEPHANIE MERRITT Marketing Consultant
Stephanie is a successful senior living professional with over 14 years of experience in the senior housing and medical home care industry. She spent over 13 years with Five Star Quality Care and then Sunrise Senior Living as the Director of Sales and expanded her knowledge by becoming a 1:1 trainer for new Sales Director's joining the company. Her most recent role allowed her to successfully master and sell medical home care, nurse care management and collaborate with home health and hospice agencies. Stephanie holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the Delaware State University where she graduated magna cum laude.
EILEEN MOORE Marketing & Senior Special Projects Consultant
Eileen is a Senior Special Projects Marketing Consultant with considerable experience in training, lead management & generation, event planning, sales and marketing. Eileen is a certified Matrix Care Marketing trainer and provides clients with in-depth database system training. She has worked with more than 64 communities to streamline the process, create meaningful reports, and increase staff database utilization. Eileen was the Marketing Consultant at Providence Point; a start-up community in Pittsburgh, PA. She has worked on startups and expansions at Brazos Towers in Houston, TX and The Ranch in Stillwater, OK. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania, was a licensed real estate broker.
TODD KEMERLY Senior Marketing Consultant
Todd is a seasoned consultant and brings 26 years of experience in senior living. Presently, Todd is completing an assignment with Wesley Willows in Rockford, IL and is managing a pre-sales marketing campaign at Siena on the Lake in Racine, WI. Prior to joining Spectrum, Todd was Vice President of Sales for Classic Residence by Hyatt (now known as Vi Senior Living) where he worked for 20 years in various positions. He has also served as Director of Sales and Marketing for Marriott Senior Living in multiple locations. Todd has expertise and great experience in developing marketing and sales strategy, evaluating performance, staff development, sales processes and systems, lead generation, lead management, and sales team training. Todd has studied at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL and Indiana University in Bloomington, IN.
TRICIA PRATT Marketing Consultant
With over 30 years of industry success, Tricia is an experienced senior living marketing and sales professional. Her skills and expertise are inmarketing, planning, sales and sales management, lead generation, advertising and creative services, and training. Pre-sales and fill-up marketing and sales campaigns have been Tricia’s primary focus for the past 12 years, including a start-up CCRC, The Cardinal of North Hills, now a Kisco Senior Living Community. From 2001 – 2007, Tricia worked on the $90 million expansion project with Pennybyrn at Maryfield. She began her senior living career in 1981 with California based American Baptist Homes of the West (ABHOW) and worked with ABHOW for 15 years, serving communities as marketing director, corporate director of marketing and in operations management. Tricia holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Entrepreneur Business from Ottawa University in Kansas and a Masters of Arts degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Redlands, Redlands, CA.
AMY SANDERS Marketing Consultant
Amy brings over 20 years of sales and marketing experience, drawing on management level positions in senior living, healthcare and long-term care. She has extensive experience in marketing, sales, start-ups and sales training. Amy was previously the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Wingate Healthcare in Needham, Massachusetts where she was responsible for sales and marketing operations for 21 senior living and skilled nursing communities. Prior to Wingate Healthcare, Amy served as the Regional Director of Marketing for HealthBridge Management, overseeing eight New England Communities including 1,300 skilled nursing beds and an independent living community.
Laurie manages Spectrum’s financial transaction activities and administration. She directs annual and project budgeting, financial reporting, cash asset management, and employee benefits. Her paralegal and human resources experience and prior position as General Manager of an import company provides daily fiscal proficiency for Spectrum and Spectrum’s clients. Laurie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Kentucky.
DEE WISE Technology Consultant
Dee provides high-level technology consulting for Spectrum since 2000. He is the President of Wise Computer Consulting and leads a team of programmers and technicians. Dee specializes in areas of network and systems administration, technical security, technical support, and network architecture. He studied Mechanical Engineering at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC.
